ALL TESTS (with keys) are prepared at 9 P.M Liberian time! The DETAILS of what I plan to cover the next 5 weeks are made. This is the THIRD time I've had to do this detailed plan since my weeks' schedules have been changed twice in 2 weeks.
I chose today to use this QUIET to get all these tasks behind me so that tomorrow (Sunday) I can really focus on worship, quiet AND that much needed down time. I have new housemates moving in this Wednesday. They're real young, I'm told, so that should make for interesting and lively life around here.
They're coming to launch Amani ya Juu in Liberia. What an example this May event is for my Public Relations class. I hope that after I am gone, what they've learned will begin to make more sense to them as they see the event "the Sankofo Fashion Shows" take place here in Yekepa and in Monrovia.
Sankofo is a Ghanan word meaning "looking back; looking forward" The fashion show seeks to show both and how God is transforming African women's lives through economic development such as this industry. Amani focuses on reconciliation and the ultimate reconciliation we all need with Christ.
I'm so thankful to have people of vision in my life! They inspire me.
