Another "Prof" asked to come in my class this afternoon. It was fine but still a bit stressful, especially when I had to correct a student. We had a good class though. Three hours, however is still a very long time to teach, especially from 3 to 6 P.M. and tomorrow, Monday, and Tuesday I have six hours of teaching each day. At least next week we go on some field trips to break things up, and I have my friend Peggy coming. She will "entertain" my class Tuesday afternoon. I am the only "prof" having to conduct classes next week, the week of Dedication,( looking back at the destruction, and glorifying God for the incredible restoration in just 3 years).Samaritan's Purse and Stepping Out Mission have really done the bulk of construction projects. These men have amazed me.
Now, about "singing in the rain" (I guess you have to be a certain age to even know that tune.). It was a glorious feeling. (another line from that song) My roomies went with me. I even had them clicking their heels. My kids would probably groan if they read that last statement. They know how manic their mother can get at times, letting off steam. Actually, I was relaxing, and getting to see the sun set while the very dark skies above pummeled us with pretty heavy rain gave cause to praise God.
No pictures tonight, but
Saturday when I visit the orphans I plan to have pictures and a story to go with it. Actually, I just thought of one I can post.
Next week, maybe you'll get to see Franklin Graham getting out of his helicopter. We'll see! .Good night, my friends!
I loved this post-could see your heart.
